(B) The freehand drawing function is used to outline the anterior glenoid defect border (yellow) and circumference of the perfect circle for determination of the surface area of the defect. The surface area measurements of the circle and freehand drawing shown in A and B, respectively, can be plugged into the following equation to calculate the percentage of glenoid bone loss: Percent bone loss = (Defect surface area/Surface area of inferior glenoid circle) × 100%.
