Basics Concepts A command is telling someone to do or not do something. It may include: Expressing an order Requesting a favor Giving instructions

Basics Concepts 2. Tú and Nosotros commands do not include subjects. Ud. and Uds. commands may include the Ud. Or Uds., but if they are used, they are placed after the command.

Placement of Object Pronouns with Statements 1. If it is the object of an conjugated verb, then place it in front of the conj. verb. ie...Me gusta. (I like it.) 2. If it is the object of an infinitive, then place attach it to the end of the infinitive. ie...Quiero afeitarme. (I want to shave.)

Placement of Object Pronouns with Commands 3. If it is the object of an affirmative command, then attach it to the end of the command. ( watch for accents) ie...Cómelo. (Eat it.) 4. If it is the object of a negative command, then place it in front of the command. ie...No lo comas. (Don’t eat it.)
