School Uniforms School Uniforms must be worn at all times. Students may wear Manta Ray shirts and jeans on Friday but MUST bring in $1. P.E Uniforms can be worn ONLY on P.E days.

Florida Standards Assessment Your child will be taking the FSA in March/April 2017 Test determines if child moves on to 4th grade Math Session Reading Session Multiple Choice- only one correct answer Multi-Select- More than one correct answer Two Part Questions- Write out the answers and explain Equation Response -Gives a problem and student explains the equation needed to find the answer. Scores below 50% will be RETAINED

Computer Programs Technology fee $ iREADY will be used in our classroom to reinforce concepts learned in class and for interventions. We will be using iREADY for Math and Reading. Your child’s login/password information is their student ID and PW: lion We will also be using additional computer programs in our class & at home: Math Magician Reflex Math Ten Marks

Homework Check your child’s folder EVERYDAY! Check your child’s homework every night and initial their agenda. Daily Homework Spelling, Vocabulary Chart, Reading Comp., Math, Reading Log The homework packet should be returned everyday to school to be checked. HOMEWORK SHOULD BE DONE DAILY. Reading Log should be completed daily. If students have an incomplete week of HW packet, no recess will be given so the child can work on the HW.

Volunteer Hours You MUST complete 30 hours by the end of the school year. -In class/field trip volunteering -Donations -Snacks -Treasure Box items If you do not complete your volunteer hours you will not be eligible for re-enrollment.
