About Me Grew up in Arcadia. Undergrad: UCSB, Credential: CSULB, Masters: LMU 11th year in Education. 5th year teaching at Holy Angels.

Why is 7th Grade so important? Beginning of serious high school planning Grades matter, especially measurable improvement Behavior counts Studying, studying, STUDYING Balance Young adulthood

Homework Will be given in every subject (English, Math, and Social Studies) but on an as need basis Absences will be given the same number of days absent to complete any missing assignments Late homework will accepted but will be given partial credit

Grades Gradelink 30% - Homework, Classwork, and Participation For Literature - 15% for Homework and Classwork, 15% for AR 3 points for each homework assignment Effort is the most important element Classwork is graded based on rubric or # of problems Some assignments will be for credit/no credit 20% - Quizzes 50% - Tests, Essays, and Projects Honor Roll (3.20) Principal’s List (3.75)
