This project will allow you to see our world from the planet we live on, all the way to Chester County Middle School. Goal: The goal is for you to understand how big our world is, and for you to understand where you are on the map! You will need crayons, glue, and scissors for this project.

My Planet - Earth - We live on the planet Earth. - Notice that the land is green, and the water is blue. - Earth is the 3rd planet from the sun. - Earth has 7 continents and 5 oceans.

My Continent - North America - We live on the North American continent. - It is one of the 7 continents. - The Atlantic Ocean lies on the East coast, while the Pacific Ocean lies on the West coast.

My Country - The United States of America - We live in the United States of America. - There are 50 states. - July 4, 1776 is our country’s birthday. - The USA is the 4th largest country in the world.

My State - Tennessee - We live in the state of Tennessee. - It was the 16th state to join the Union. - It contains 95 counties. - The capital of TN is Nashville. - We are known as the Volunteer State.

My County - Chester - Our school is located in Chester County. - Chester County contains several cities, including Henderson, Enville, Jacks Creek, and many more. - There is only 1 middle school in our county!
