Youth In Action Service Learning with Tom Ribar By: Ashley Beaman

Who ? A group of dedicated college students + Some truly amazing kids

What ? Youth In Action is a youth group that serves the youth of West Waynesburg. Missions Statement: Venturing out to reach the youth of The Waynesburg Community through intentional mentoring relationships, encouragement in spiritual growth, and the challenge to embrace higher levels of worth, character, and responsibility, while instilling the values of servant –leadership and inspiring a greater vision of the kingdom of Jesus Christ.

When ? Youth in Action is a Full- Time commitment. Youth Group takes place on Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm Leadership planning meetings are on Monday evenings at 10pm.

Where ? Youth Group held at the WWJD center in West Waynesburg. We also just recently bought the old Trinitys bar and turned it into a youth drop-in center called West Sides.

Why ? We are called by God to serve We love the kids! As Christians, we realize the importance of service within our communities. We recognize the impact we can have on the lives of these kids.
