I Pick Good-Fit Books I. Choose a book. 2. Purpose – Why do I want to read it? 3. Interest – Does it interest me? 4. Comprehend – Do I understand what I am reading? 5. Know – I know most of the words.

Meet with Teacher Sit at the kidney table… Bring all materials-notebooks and a pencil Ignore distractions Work the entire time If you are messing around, you will go back to your seat and practice during lunch

Read to Self Any time you are finished with your work you should be reading independently. There is only ONE rotation of reading; therefore, any extra time should be dedicated to reading.

BOGGLE Every week you will have a weekly Boggle game posted on the board. It is your responsibility to do the Boggle any time you’re done with studying vocabulary, working on skill work, or outside of class. Turn in the weekly Boggle sheet into the BBB when you’ve completed all the blanks or by Friday. Be sure to total your score and make sure you haven’t repeated any words!
