Google Earth Tour Tutorial How to create and turn in https://www.google.com/earth/outreach/tutorials/tourbuilder.html

Go to: https://tourbuilder.withgoogle.com/ Sign in with student email Click “create tour”

Name your tour: Biome Tour Author name: You and your partner’s full names (if you are working with one other person) Click “create tour”

Click “Add location”

Search for the location of your first biome (city and country) or search on map and click “drop placemark”

Once you have located your city in your first biome, click “Add to tour”

Now you can add the required components to the map (see next slide or project handout)

Required components for each location: “Enhance the story” section Picture of city Picture of four native plants Picture of four native animals “Introduction” section Name of four plants and animals Name and description of four activities Average temperature Average climate

Repeat for all the other biomes (use a new city each time)

To Turn In Click “Share”

In share settings, click “change” under “who can access”

Choose “any one who has the link” Click “save”

Copy and paste the link into the google submission form on classroom
