Employment and main activities Education Agricultural University of Tirana, Faculty of Forestry Sciences 2011 – Present Candidate of doctoral studies 2008 – 2010 Second level degree (Master of sciences) 2005 – 2008 Bachelor degree Employment and main activities Forestry adviser and National Engagement Strategy facilitator Responsible for coordinating various projects related to forestry, agro- forestry and communal forestry in Albania. Providing technical assistance and training to forest owners/users including aspects of sustainable forest management. Facilitating civil society members’ dialogue with governmental and intergovernmental institutions. Contributing to various administrative tasks.

Presentation of a project you are working on 1/3 National Engagement Strategy Multi-stakeholder platform which provides a permanent space for interaction and dialog among a variety of actors on forest and land governance. Engages civil society organisations, members of parliament, national and local governments, academic institutions, the World Bank and SIDA etc.

Presentation of a project you are working on 2/3 Strategic Objective 2: Ensure that Local Government Units (municipalities) have capacities to manage forests and develop usership agreements with local users (men and women).

Presentation of a project you are working on 3/3 Facilitating multi-stakeholder meetings at local level to identify priorities for the development of forests and NR. Technically supporting one pilot Municipality to develop a participatory operational forest plan. Developing two pilot forestry models to address the farmer needs for firewood and other forest products. Using the pilot to increase the capacities of other municipalities to develop operational plans.
