Child Chats Math- Ask your child to show you how to solve 36-25 with a strategy we have learned. Can they create a story problem with a start, change, and question to go with this equation? Reading- Ask your child to tell you the author’s purpose for a book they read. Entertain? Inform? Persuade? Vocabulary- Talk to them about these 4 words: gleam, prowl, praise, prance Challenge your child to use each one in a sentence. Writing- Ask your child if they can share an example of a bold beginning. How do they hook their readers?   Science- Ask your child what they know about force and motion.
