College = more freedom (power) and therefore, more responsibility Knowing how to handle this responsibility and manage your time is going to be SUPER important for your success! You will NOT become experts at time management after this session Need to actually experience what time management in college is like in order to figure it out

YOUR ROOMMATE’S BIRTHDAY PARTY!!! : Friday 8:00pm-Midnight (excluding off-campus individuals) THE PERSON YOU SECRETLY ADMIRE ASKED YOU ON A DATE!: Saturday Coffee 11am- 12pm 3) The group you sit with in one of your classes is getting together to go to the spoken word open mic night: Sunday: 6pm-8pm 4) The friend of a friend is having an art show and almost everyone you know is going: Sunday 12pm-2pm 5) DRAKE CONCERT the greatest music artist in the world is at your school!!! A group from your dorm is going and invited you! Saturday 5:00pm- 8:00pm (excluding off-campus individuals)

What if my schedule gets too crazy?!?!?!?! Everyone feels overwhelmed at some point! Tips to get through the freak-out phase: You DO NOT have to do everything! (Not an excuse to be lazy/slack off) Figure out what is IMPORTANT to you! Prioritize your tasks/commitments Make time in your schedule to re-energize yourself! What do you do now when you’re stressed or worn out to re-energize? Figure out how much sleep you need to function – GET THAT SLEEP TIME MANAGEMENT ---- don’t be afraid to fail! KNOW YOUR RESOURCES ON CAMPUS – CP IS STILL WITH YOU!
