Scale Design In order for your builders to know how large items should be, set designs will use smaller measurements to indicate size. The scale must always be the consistent throughout the design. Say we chose ¼” = 1’ In a drawing, a table might be 2” (inches) – meaning it should be 8 feet long What if we had a wall that was 1.5” How large should we build it?
Drawing it out In this class I will ask you to create a sketch design (looking from front, instead of bird’s eye view). Here are some examples:
