How does it work? We’ll pose a powerful question You’ll be in groups of 4 or 5 Each group will discuss the powerful question in relation to a social media tool After ten minutes we’ll sound the klaxon
When the klaxon sounds Rotate to the next topic One person remain where they were to introduce the discussion to the new people Make sure you move to a new topic for each round
Do: Don’t Form a circle Talk to the whole group Appoint a leader/chair Appoint a note-taker
Your communications department has banned all physical promotional materials and you can only use one form of social media. How will you plan library promotion using this tool?
What did you discuss? Which type of social media tool would be your preference? Are you going to try out a new tool following today's session? Could social media replace physical publicity?
