RIGHT: (noun) a just claim or title, whether legal, prescriptive, or moral That which is due to anyone by just claim, legal guarantees or moral principles EXAMPLES You have a right to say what you please. Freedom of speech is a legal right of all Americans He has a 50-percent right in a silver mine. The author controls the screen rights for the book. The Merriam Webster Dictionary says……… RIGHT: (noun) something that a person is morally or legally allowed to have, get, or do rights : the legal authority to reproduce, publish, broadcast, or sell something something to which one has a just claim: as the power or privilege to which one is justly entitled (such as - voting rights)
