Math - Mrs. Price Test on Tuesday, October 24th Multiply decimals/divide decimals with decimal in the dividend Raw problems and word problems Students should be FLUENT with their multiplication facts Unit 2 Review is homework tonight. (Paper copy) We will go over it tomorrow in class and I’ll post the answer key on my calendar Office Hours: Every Wednesday with me, every Tuesday with Mrs. Griffin Retake Policy: Major assessments usually replace minor assessment grades Encourage your child to become comfortable with asking for help! Advisory is a great time to come in and ask a quick question Coming Up: Fractions and Fraction Tutorial Mini Project

Science- Mrs. Stager Finish Unit 1 Safety tools and rules Lab equipment Processes of science- writing hypothesis, testable questions, inferences and observations Unit 2- Properties of matter How we classify matter, mixtures, solutions, melting/freezing points, etc.

Science - Mrs. Stager Grades Quizzes- minor assessments, announced one week in advance Tests- major assessments, announced one week in advance Quick checks- minor assessments, not announced, meant to assess current level of knowledge of concepts, some grades replaced after unit test Retake Policy: Major assessments may be re-tested is score is less than 85. Highest score on retest is 85.
