 Energy is never made or destroyed, it simply changes from one form to another. When we eat food, the chemicals are broken down, and energy is released.

Nature By Eddy , Tom and Elio

Mammals There are over 4000 different types of mammals. There mammals that live above ground , that can fly, that live below ground and that live under water. Mammals can live in locations of both warm temperatures and cold temperatures. (you will be tested at the end) ;)

Reptiles There are more than 8,000 species of reptiles on the planet, and the live on every continent except Antarctica (where it is too cold). Their blood is not necessarily cold by itself. But they are ectothermic, which means they get their body heat from external sources. Reptiles cannot regulate their body temperature internally as human

Latin Animal Names Lion – Leo Dog – Canis Cat – Feles Bird – Avem Giraffe – Panthera Tiger – Tigris

Tree Fact File Trees produce oxygen and reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The roots of a tree usually grow underground, helping keep it stable and providing it with water and important nutrients. Water and food travel up the tree trunk, through the branches and all the way out to the leaves.

Latin Tree Names Pedunculate Oak – Quercus Robur Beech – Fagus Sylvatica Silver Birch – Betula Pendula Walnut – Juglans Regia Holly – Ilix Aquifolium
