Community Input - Key Themes Improve the flow – look for ways to enhance the flow of traffic to and from Broadway Plaza; improve parking Focus on the pedestrian experience – Make the Broadway Plaza environment more comfortable and enjoyable Create a destination – Create a place, not just for shopping but that compliments and enhances the downtown area Consider the creek – Research a way to incorporate the Creek and its history into the plan Maintain the charm/connectivity with downtown – enhance the essential charm of Walnut Creek – from interesting retail choices to improved connectivity with traditional downtown Evolve smart – Create a framework with flexibility that can evolve to address future opportunities
