Figure 1 TrkA Signaling Endosomes Trigger Postsynaptic Clustering in Sympathetic Neuron Dendrites Postganglionic sympathetic axons innervate target organs, allowing target-derived NGF to bind TrkA and initiate the retrograde transport of signaling endosomes. Signaling endosomes travel into the postganglionic sympathetic dendrites (blue) and trigger the clustering of postsynaptic components required for synaptic assembly with preganglionic axons (red).
