PARTNERS Lead applicant organisation: School for Disabled Children the Future Partner organisations: - Handicap International (HI) – Implementing partner - Department of Education and Training (DoET), Da Nang city - Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA), Da Nang city

OBJECTIVES The central aim of the project is to promote the empowerment and participation of young deaf people and their families so they can develop to their fullest and integrate into mainstream society. Main project activities include: Identification of the needs of deaf young people; Facilitating the process of establishing clubs and/or a society for deaf people; Provision of additional training in sign language; Support for cultural activities, sports, life skills training, profession orientation and employment; and Setting up a forum for deaf young people and their families.
