Live vs Studio?

Multi-Camera Live Events

Multi-Camera Live Events: Music festivals

Multi-Camera Live Events : Sports

Live Events Task: Watch the filmed examples of Live Events on Vibe Productions/Unit 23/LO1 Draw/ create a diagram of one of the events. You can do this on paper and scan it in, or create a diagram in PowerPoint. Imagine you were to film this whole event. You would want a variety of shots coming from multiple cameras. Mark on the diagram where the cameras would be placed. Draw what the cameras would see in their viewfinder. (crowd, singer, whole stage, birds eye etc…) Write a short paragraph for each camera, justifying why you would place it there. Save this to your memory stick. You have 2 lessons to complete this – The work must be uploaded to LO1 and titled LIVE EVENT CAMERA SET UP

Multi-Camera Studio Productions

Multi-Camera Studio Events: Chat Shows

Multi-Camera Studio Events: Panel Show

Multi-Camera Studio Events: Studio Based Drama

Studio Productions Task: Do the same as you did with the live event Watch the filmed examples of Studio Productions on Vibe Productions/Unit 23/LO1 Draw/ create a diagram of a studio production. You can do this on paper and scan it in, or create a diagram in PowerPoint. The studio production could be a game show, chat show, panel show or studio-based drama. Imagine you were to film this whole event. You would want a variety of shots coming from multiple cameras. Mark on the diagram where the cameras would be placed. Draw what the cameras would see in their viewfinder. Write a short paragraph for each camera, justifying why you would place it there. You have 2 lessons to do this but you must leave enough time to discuss the difference between live and studio set up in a paragraph at the end UPLOAD to your weebly page under Studio camera set up
