Main forms of the passive verb phrase

1- Present Simple Masa cleans the room. The room is cleaned by Masa. (singular) The room is cleaned by Masa. Masa cleans the rooms. (plural) The rooms are cleaned by Masa.

2- Past Simple Masa cleaned the room. The room was cleaned by Masa. (singular) The room was cleaned by Masa. Masa cleaned the rooms. (plural) The rooms were cleaned by Masa.

Masa is cleaning the room. 3- Present Progressive Masa is cleaning the room. (singular) The room is being cleaned by Masa. Masa is cleaning the rooms. (plural) The rooms are being cleaned by Masa.
