Intellect (áql) in the words of Imam Ali (a)

‘Aql is the most powerful asset. [Al-Amidi, Ghurar ul-Hikam wa Durar ul-Kalim, hadith # 4330]

‘Aql is purified from evils and guides one to goodness. [Al-Amidi, Ghurar ul-Hikam wa Durar ul-Kalim, hadith #1350]

‘Aql is a sharp cutting sword. [Nahjul Balagha, saying# 424]

‘Aql is the messenger of truth. [Al-Amidi, Ghurar ul-Hikam wa Durar ul-Kalim, hadith # 1291]
