What is the Amazon Rainforest? The Amazon is the largest tropical rainforest in the world, covering over half of Brazil and other South American countries. Here is some information about it!

Animals and Wildlife There are over 30 million animals in the Amazon – 10% of the worlds known species! 90% of organisms live in the Amazon. Another name for the Amazon is ‘The Lungs of the Earth’ because there are so many trees that produce oxygen for us to breath.
