Playing Freeze Tag

When you play tag, one person is "it". Sometimes kids play freeze tag on the playground at school.

When you are "it" that means it is your turn to tag other people. Who is “it” in this picture?

The rule is, when someone tags you, you have to “freeze” The rule is, when someone tags you, you have to “freeze”. This means to stop and stand very still.

All kids that get tagged “freeze” or stop.

When someone tags me, I can "freeze".

The kids that are playing keep standing very still until they are tagged again. When they are tagged again, it is time to “unfreeze”. This means it is time to run around again.

When I get tagged again it is time to unfreeze When I get tagged again it is time to unfreeze. This means it is time to run around again.

I will try to stay frozen (this means stop and stand very still) until I get tagged again.

When I get tagged again, I can go!
