Usando los dos en una oración: When direct & indirect object pronouns are used together in a sentence, the IOP goes first.
Te los compramos. We bought them for you. Ejemplo Compramos los zapatos para tí. Te los compramos. IOP DOP We bought them for you.
Con el infinitivo o progresivo You have two choices: you can place the pronouns before the conjugated verb: Me los vas a comprar. / You are going to buy them for me. IOP DOP Me los estás comprando. / You are buying them for me.
Vas a comprármelos /You are going to buy them for me. Or you can attach it to the end of the infinitive or progressive form: Vas a comprármelos /You are going to buy them for me. IOP DOP Estás comprándomelos /You are buying them for me.
Regla especial When both the DOP and IOP are in third person (le, les, lo/la, los/las) – Change the indirect object pronoun to “SE” Le pido una servilleta al mesero. / I ask the waiter for a napkin. IOP DO IO Le la pido Se la pido.
