Research Overview Aim: to investigate the institutional forces affecting women’s agency as ICT professionals in DCs Study: A qualitative study of the case of Sri Lanka was carried out using a New Institutional and TechnoFeminist lens

Research Findings Academic Finding: influence of the ICT work culture (sector, organisation, and technology) yet dualistic notions of equality predominate Practical Recommendation: put ‘gender on the agenda’ at all institutional levels (responsibility for change is at everyone’s door)
