Мақалада білім беру жүйесіндегі көптілділіктің маңызы туралы, көптілді білім алудың Қазақстан жастарына тигізер пайдасы мен жүзеге асыру жолдары сарапталады. Семей қаласының Шәкәрім атындағы мемлекеттік университетіндегі көптілді білім берудің даму кезеңдері көрсетілген. Көптілді білім алу үдерісіндегі қазақ әдебиетін ағылшын тілінде оқыту, қазақ тілінің мемлекеттік тіл ретіндегі статусы, ролі, ерекшелігі және олардың ғылыми-педагогикалық бағытты дамытудағы алатын орны. В статье рассматриваются вопросы важности полиязычия в современном образовательном процессе, пути реализации и роль полиязычного образования в жизни молодежи Казахстана. Представлены этапы развития полиязычного образования в Государственном университете имени Шакарима города Семей. Изучение казахской литературы на английском языке в процессе полиязычного образования, статус, значение и особенности казахского языка как государственного, их место в развитии научно-педагогического направления.

Shakarim State University of Semey has been actively implementing the process of developing multilingual education policy on the following directions: scientific- pedagogical, technical, agricultural, humanitarian and economic.

In 2015- 2016 academic year the educational process of multilingual education was organized in the experimental form according to the model 40*40*20, and this 2016- 2017 academic year has been organized according to the model 50*20*30. To master language skills among teaching staff and students of the University seminars with foreign visiting professors from Switzerland, Germany, Israel and the USA are being held constantly.

According to the memorandum between the University and schools of the city, aiming at exchanging the experience in teaching subjects in English language, the schools have become the base for students where they can master their professional skills in teaching in English language; also the teaching staff of the University publishes books and materials on the subjects in English language.
