Copyright - Disaster Resistant Communities Group – www.drc-group.com Jackson County CEMP The County EOC is the central point of coordination for all emergency operations in Jackson County. All agencies with primary roles according to the CEMP will have representation at the County EOC for their operations. The County EOC serves as the central clearinghouse for information collection and coordination of response and recovery activities within the county. When a disaster strikes, municipalities request outside assistance through the County EOC. The County EOC then requests assistance from the State EOC during events that overwhelm local resource and response capabilities. Copyright - Disaster Resistant Communities Group – www.drc-group.com

EOC Activation Level Level 1 – Full Scale Activation   In a full scale activation, all lead and support agencies are notified of a disaster. The EOC is activated on a 24-hour basis and staffed by all necessary personnel. All emergency management staff is available for disaster operations. Outside assistance from state and federal agencies will be needed. Copyright - Disaster Resistant Communities Group – www.drc-group.com
