Settlement of Zuni vs. DOI Formed a Tribal/BIA Workgroup to develop DCSC Policy (CSC Policy) Policy completed and presented to ASIA in 2006 ASIA approved/signed on March 8, 2006 Implemented in FY 2007

CSC Policy Includes: Three Pools of CSF Established Stable Recurring CSF for Tribal Contractors (no longer annual pro rata distribution) Permanent Tribal/BIA CSC Workgroup

Three CSC Pools Pool One: Indian Self-Determination Funds (ISDF) – Start up and CSF for New 638 Contracts Pool Two: Main Contract Support line item for the existing contracts (earmarked) Pool Three: New Appropriations

Stable CSF Established recurring funding using actual FY 2006 Indirect Cost need Paid full Indirect in FY 2007 Paid DCSC for the first 1.87% of need. (Based on Salaries) Tribes will receive the same amount in FY 2008 and beyond unless new Approp. are available.
