If you have an immediate family member (someone your Explorer knows and would recognize) that you’d like to honor, please send a photograph and information directly to Dr. Lyda. CWES will be participating in the Beat Bama Food Drive.  Large barrels will be in the front of the school for non-perishable food items beginning Monday.  Students can place the items in the barrels as they arrive in the mornings. We can break our record of 436 pounds collected last year. Thank you in advance for your generosity. Classroom Needs/ Wishes We will begin learning about the Mayflower voyage and the first Thanksgiving next week! As the culmination of our study, the entire first grade will take part in a mock Mayflower voyage. Please send in a white or light colored pillow case for your child by Tuesday, November 13 - we will use these for our outfits. Please also look for a sign-up genius email about specifics for the day of the voyage and snacks you can send in to help out. Thanks for helping us with this learning experience!
