Leadership After reading Walt Whitman’s poem, “O Captain! My Captain,” consult the people around you to answer the following questions: Was the Captain an effective leader or not? How do we know? What does it mean, then, to be an effective leader, according to this poem?

Good leaders (which isn’t synonymous with good people) Using your phone as a research tool, find information on someone that your group thinks is a leader.
