Resilience = Relationships Dr. Brant Winn Park University
Do Any of you want Your Students To say this about you? I had a teacher that influenced how I spoke to people. I have social anxiety and hated speaking in groups and crowds. She built my self-esteem through giving me positive feedback and support, then students started doing the same thing to me. It “snow balled” and now I enjoy speaking in public and in front of groups. Do any of you want Your Students To say this about you? My teacher really impacted me. I lost my father and she took me in and treated me well. She showed me the good in people. She cared and showed me I could do whatever I put my mind to. She really put positivity into me. OR
Do any of You want Your Students To say this about you? A teacher I had in high school really helped my self- esteem. She tutored me twice a week and helped me raise my ACT score 3 points. Without her I probably would not be at Park University, earning a degree. She helped me feel smart and that I could do anything I put my mind to. I can’t think my high school English teacher enough. I know for a fact that I would not be where I am without her.
