What to expect What is Voice of the Child, Young Person and Family Project Objectives Engagement and input

What is Voice of the Child, Young Person and Family? Strategic - The ways in which people are asked about and able to voice their view and/or influence change on the strategies, plans, budgets etc. in a strategic, high level and frequent/well established way. Operational - The ways in which people are asked about and able to voice their view of a service, topic, project, change or development. Individual - The way in which people are asked about, and are able to voice their feelings, wishes and opinion about their needs and the processes they are involved in.

Objective To integrate the Voice of the Child, Young Person and Family within Hertfordshire Children’s Services at an individual, operational and strategic level.

What do we want to achieve in Children’s Services Consistent approach to VoCYPF across Children’s Services Promoting good practice Make it easier for staff to incorporate VoCYPF into their work Being able to demonstrate the impact on the service and the people we work with
