EPHESIANS 6:18 “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”
We give praise, thanks and glory to God… We give thanks to the men that have gone before US…
THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD The Bible says in Ephesians 6:18, “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.” Christians are in the fight of our lives (Gal. 3:26).
THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD The Bible says, “…that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world,” has been “cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Revelation 12:9; Acts 11:26).
THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD The Holy Spirit says, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8; Matthew 16:18).
THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it” (John 8:44).
THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD Faithful Christians will NOT allow Satan to “get an advantage of us” because we “are not ignorant of his devices” (2 Corinthians 2:11, 14, Eph. 6:12; Matthew 7:15). The armour of God and prayer go together
THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD The apostle John wrote, “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: and if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him” (1 John 5:14-15).
THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD God alone “giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57; 1 John 5:4). Jesus’ Parable “that men ought always to pray, and not to faint” (Luke 18:1-8).
THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD Constantly “strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man” (Ephesians 3:16).
THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD “Helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God” (Rom. 8:26-27)
THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD Christians must be watchful for all the saints (Eph. 6:18; 1 Thess. 5:17; 1 John 2:15-17; Col. 2:9). Invitation
