Key points for Today 1) The flowchart I made for you is pretty dang important. Take it out. 2) Work being + or -… A force in the opposite direction of the displacement results in a negative work. A force in the same direction as the displacement results in a positive work 3) The TOTAL amount of energy is the idea of the energy of the SYSTEM. The amount of KINETIC and POTENTIAL combined is the MECHANICAL energy.
