Core Course Recommendations 8th grade Core Teachers will make Course Recommendations for English, Math and Science (Social Studies is NOT required in 9th grade) If a student wants to take a MORE advanced course then they must do a waiver Waivers available on our website on March 1st under “Parents and Students” then “CAP” Waivers will be open February 24th through March 15th Waivers are processed after March 15th If a student wants to take a lower level than what was recommended, then they need to tell the High School Advisor working with them at the CAP conference.
