7th Grade AVID Ms. Werner Advancement : moving up/excelling Via: By Individual: you Determination: pushing to succeed Ms. Werner

A Little About Me I am extremely excited to be teaching 7th grade AVID as a 12th year teacher - I graduated from UCSC with a B.A. in Literature and Creative Writing. I got my K-12 teaching credential at Dominican University in San Rafael and received my Masters in Educational Technology at Touro University. - Beyond teaching I enjoy playing competitive tennis, writing poetry and fiction, playing the cello, cooking and traveling. - I want school to be a place where students can’t wait to walk through my door. I love being creative and want to make learning come alive. I teach, so that students can make relevant connections to their own lives and in turn, make a positive difference in the world.
