DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL STUDIES Required for graduation: Minimum of 3 credits including World Civilizations, US History, and 1 semester of Government plus .5 elective. Options for Sophomores: US History 1 HS credit per year OR AP US History 1 HS credit per year Electives: Sociology .5 HS credit per semester Psychology .5 HS credit per semester Current Issues .5 HS credit per semester Law .5 HS credit per semester 20th Century Wars .5 HS credit per semester College Course: Introduction to Sociology 3 credits and .5 HS credit Catalog: 26-30

DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES Foreign Language is not required for high school graduation; however, 2-3 years of the same foreign language may be required for college admission. 4 years is optimal. DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION Business and Vocational Ed. are not required for high school graduation; however, classes in these areas offer real-life experiences and 21st century job skills. DEPARTMENT OF FINE ARTS MUSIC Students are required to take a minimum of 2 semesters of Fine Arts for graduation. Courses are available in both Music and Visual Arts. DEPARTMENT OF FINE ARTS VISUAL Students are required to take a minimum of 2 semesters of Fine Arts for graduation. Courses are available in both Music and Visual Arts.
