5. HERE WE COME A-CAROLING

1: My goodness! We’re already to the 8th day of our 12 days of Christmas! 2: Well, we’ve been on a sleigh ride, played outside in the snow, and decorated the Christmas tree … what could possibly be left? SG: Get outta my way! Get outta my way! There’s a blue-light special and my credit cards aren’t full yet!

3: What’s the blue-light special for? SG: Who cares?! It’s shopping, isn’t it? Get outta my way! (music starts) 5: Another wonderful tradition for the 12 days of Christmas is to dress real warm and go around from house to house singing Christmas carols with all of your friends. 6: Oooooh! I LOVE to go Christmas caroling! 7: She really LOVES IT!

On the eighth day of Christmas We sing a Christmas carol. Here we come a-caroling Among the leaves so green; Here we come a-wand’ring So fair to be seen

Love and joy come to you, And to all your fam’ly too; And God bless you and Send you a happy New Year, And God send you a happy New Year.

We are not daily beggars That beg from door to door. But we are neighbor’s children Whom you have seen before. Love and joy come to you And to all your fam’ly too; And God bless you, and Send you a happy New Year, And God send you a happy New Year.

We wish you a merry Christmas, And a happy New Year. Good tidings to you, Wherever you are; Good tidings for Christmas

Oh bring us some figgy pudding, And bring it right here. We won’t go until we get some, We won’t go until we get some So bring it right here.

Good tidings to you, Wherever you are; Good tidings for Christmas And a happy New Year. ____________ We wish you a merry Christmas, And a happy, happy, happy New Year.______________________

On the ninth day of Christmas We raise our voices in song, and ask you to sing along.

1: Ok, everybody, we know you’d LOVE to sing along with us, so please do! 2: And, if you’d like … why not take out all of your keys and make them ring like real jingle bells?

Up on the house-top reindeer pause, Out jumps good ol’ Santa Claus; Down thru the chimney with lots of toys, All for the little ones, Christmas joys. Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go? Up on the house-top, click, click, click, Down through the chimney with good Saint Nick.

Jolly ol’ Saint Nicholas, Lean your ear this way! Don’t you tell a single soul What I’m going to say; Christmas eve is coming soon; Now, you dear old man, Whisper what you’ll bring to me; Tell me if you can.

Dashing through the snow In a one-horse open sleigh, O’er the fields we go Laughing all the way. Ha-ha-ha! Bells on bob-tail ring Making spirits bright What fun it is to ride and sing A sleighing song to night. Oh!
