Presentation transcript:

Have you ever been so involved in a project, either at work or at home, that you can’t remember why you started it or its overall benefit?

Does modern technology help or hinder our ability to do this? With the fast-paced lives we live, how can slowing down actually help us fine our vision? Does modern technology help or hinder our ability to do this? Make a list of the current technology you use every day. Does use of this technology help you slow down—or does it add to your stress?

In Focus Your Vision, DeWitt Jones discusses how he holds onto the best part of the vision and lets the rest fall away. He also says it takes courage to do that. Have you ever been courageous enough to “let the rest fall away?”

When you hear your intuition, do you tend to trust it or ignore it? How is intuition different from emotion? Which one plays a bigger role in your worklife?

How do you feel about the idea of taking responsible risks to help accomplish your goals? Have you ever abandoned a focused vision or goal because you did not want to take the risk needed to get there?

What do you think about the idea of keeping our visions wide enough or big enough to include multiple options? How can making our visions “big enough” maintain our balance?

Is there anyone in your life who reminds you of Adam? Is there anyone who inspires you to be passionate about your life and work? What is the role of passion in achieving your goals?
