Curriculum The main software program we use is Applied Microtype 3.0.

First Half of Semester To teach proper finger usage and placement on the computer keyboard along with proper body positioning to ensure good health in the future.

Second Half of Semester Once all letters and numbers are introduced, emphasis focuses on speed and accuracy.

High School Credit Class is required at the Junior High level. Students who pass will receive ½ a high school credit for the course. There is a final exam worth 20% of their semester average.

Grading Guidelines Work will consist of typing program lessons and web-based lessons. Follow the district grading guidelines of: 40% Daily work 60% Major grades 3 Major grades per 9 weeks 9 Daily grades per 9 weeks 2 Grades of my choice Grades are updated by Friday each week.

Schedule and Conference Tutoring will be after school at times agreed upon with me. Transportation must be provided by parents. My conference time is 3rd period between the hours of 9:26 and 10:14.
