Founding Carolina was divided in 1712 because the rules weren't followed The Lord Proprietors Founded Carolina in 1653

Important People The Lord proprietors because they Established the colony and stayed in England to charge rent

Religion They allowed all religions No specific religion dominated in NC They had free religion

Economy Farming cash crops were corn , rice , tobacco, and beans They cut trees down to sell tar and turpentine The climate was warm humid and wet

Natural resources The natural resources were wood, corn husks, and very good soil

Interesting facts Pirates such as Blackbeard robbed ships in the NC coast Settlers told new comers they wouldn’t have to pay taxes for there religious freedom this led Quakers from England
