Presentation transcript:

Project # IoT Device Vulnerabilities and Security REU student: Amon Harris Graduate mentors: Orlando Arias Faculty mentor(s): Yier Jin, Shaojie Zhang Week 3 (May 28 – June 1, 2018) Accomplishments: Wrote Python script in Linux to gather Destination MAC addresses and Source MAC addresses Formatted MAC addresses gathered so that they appear in a user-friendly formatted Eliminated other items from different layers of the OSI model such as TCP, IP, and UDP Problem & Solutions Currently attempting to build dictionary from gathered MAC addresses to assist me in determining the access points for each device on the networks Plans for next week: Meet with one of my faculty mentors Continue to build upon the dictionary I created for access points NSF REU Research Experience on Internet of Things 2018
