Personification An introduction to…

Personification Syllables: per-son-i-fi-ca-tion; 6 Definition: a figurative language tool where an object or idea is given human traits or characteristics. Examples: The sky weeps Time waits for no man. Flowers danced about Non-Examples: The girl laughed. The boy jumped high.

Examples… His face said everything he was thinking. Her smile warmed my heart. Look at my car, she’s a beauty. The icicles gleamed in the groggy sunlight. The fire swallowed the entire forest. The two trees fought to be the tallest.
