Where do more U.S. immigrants come from: Latin America, Europe, Asia or Africa?

Immigration Today. About 430,000 Asians moved to the U.S. in 2010, making up about 36 percent of all new legal and illegal immigration. The same year, 370,000 Hispanics came to the U.S.

Made up less than 1% of population in 1965. How many Asian Americans are there? Made up less than 1% of population in 1965.

What is Asia? Asia began as a “cultural concept” defined by the ancient Greeks. Everything to the east of Greece was Asia. Everything to the west was Europe.

Is the Middle East part of Asia? Is Russia part of Asia?
