Robert Greene 1558 – 1592 Green was born in Norwich He received advanced degrees from Cambridge, and traveled throughout Europe He earned an additional degree from Oxford in 1588

Greene wrote many plays, including history plays, comedies, and tragedies He also wrote songs and short poems
