500 words The results of the BBC short story competition were announced on Friday, June 16. Some of our students entered this contest. The following link is to the shortlisted final 50 for the 10-13 year-olds category in alphabetical order. The link includes the stories being read out and the full text of each one. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/3ZXQLZWWPHtWyL7rHST7MyD/top-50-stories-2017-age-10-to-13 The winning story was “Mr BB Wolf Vs Miss RR Hood” by Livia Turner.
