To do list: Step 1: Find a GOOD source from OPAC, Mackinvia, or the Texquest resources (academic one file, General One File, Research in context, and Student Resources). Note: This is DIFFICULT. You may not find something right away. This is part of the struggle regarding research writing. Keep digging. Do advanced searches. Step 2: Once you have selected a source with good information, open up your source card document in google drive. Begin filling out the top of the card and copy and paste the MLA citation from your source. If using an ebook, click the red book in the top corner and select MLA 8. If using one of the other databases, click on the article, click on citation tools in the right corner, and select MLA 8. Step 3: Examine your outline and start searching for information in your selected source that is relevant to that outline. Note: Your source card is a note taking tool. Type in relevant information that you can later use to write your research paper.
