Alma-D implementation Agenda: Expand Alma product and revenue Issues: Alma-D is lacking migration tools and support from existing digital repositories Alma-D is not part of Alma project Gaps between existing digital systems and Alma-D’s feature set Solution: Joint effort of Professional Services and dev teams to create migration processes Enrich Alma-D feature set

Closing gaps in 2018 roadmap Alma-D will be enriched with the following features in 2018, based on customers’ feedback: DC application profile support Preview option in addition to download OCR viewer Social network tagging Restoring of deleted files Complex objects – under discussion how will be added

Suggested steps for facilitating migration: Migration plan Suggested steps for facilitating migration: PS to select 2 cooperative institutions per region, which are: Full Alma subscribers prior to implementation phase or Alma subscribers who have requested the Alma-D add-on The institutions should be a combination of DSpace, Digitool or CONTENTdm users PS and dev teams to assist chosen customers’ migration to Alma-D. Project management from PS PM and dev to provide PS with missing documentation and training Dev team to build generic migration tools for the 3 leading digital systems
