Genesis 12:1-4 Abram’s Destiny in Life The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” So Abram went, as the Lord had told him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Harran.

Abram’s Destiny in Life Gen 12:4 So Abram went, as the Lord had told him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Harran. Gen 15:6 Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness. Gen 22:16-18 “because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you… and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.

Romans 9-11 9:11 Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad - in order that God’s purpose in election might stand… 9:19-21 One of you will say to me: “Then why does God still blame us? For who is able to resist his will?” But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’” Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?

Romans 9-11 9:11 Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad - in order that God’s purpose in election might stand… 9:21 Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use? 10:1,16 Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. … But not all the Israelites accepted the good news…

Romans 9-11 9:11 Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad - in order that God’s purpose in election might stand… 9:21 Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use? 11:28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs

Ephesians 1:4-5 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will.

Ephesians 1:4-5,11-13 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will… In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation – and having believed

Romans 8:28-30 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

Acts 17:26-27 He made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.

Ephesians 2:8-10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Gen 15:4-18 But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, how can I know that I will gain possession of it?” So the Lord said to him, “Bring me a heifer, a goat and a ram, each three years old, along with a dove and a young pigeon.” Abram brought all these to him, cut them in two and arranged the halves opposite each other… When the sun had set and darkness had fallen, a smoking firepot with a blazing torch appeared and passed between the pieces.  On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land

Gen 15:4-18 But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, how can I know Gen 15:4-18 But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, how can I know? … When the sun had set and darkness had fallen, a smoking firepot with a blazing torch appeared and passed between the pieces.  On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land Gen 17:1-2 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. Then I will make my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers.

Gen 15:18 On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land Gen 17:1-2 “I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. Then I will make my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers. Gen 17:9 Then God said to Abraham, “As for you, you must keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come.
